The Eight Air Force of the USAAF between 1943 and 1945 conducted the daylight bombing campaign against Nazi occupied Europe. Young men from all over the United States enlisted to join in combat with the Luftwaffe high in the skies over Europe.
Eight Air Force is the third volume in the Statistically Dead series.
It covers many aspects of the air war the Eight Air Force fought over Germany using the Flying Fortress and Liberator, not forgetting the fighter support provided by Mustang, Thunderbolt and Lighting fighters.
